Why Community Comes First

When people start looking for a home, they usually start with the house — the beds, the baths, the square footage. I get it. But after years of helping people find their place in this city, I've learned the truth: you don't just buy a home, you buy a neighbourhood.

The walk to your morning coffee. The park where your kids will grow up. The neighbours who wave when you pull in. The little restaurant that becomes "your spot." None of that shows up in a listing photo — but it's what you actually live in, every single day.

That's why I start every search with community first, house second. Before we talk about a property, I want to understand how you want to live: the pace, the people, the streets that feel like home to you. Get the neighbourhood right, and the right house tends to follow.

It's also why I've spent so much time getting to know this city block by block — the data, the trends, and the feel of each pocket. When you know the community, you make a better decision. And a better decision is a home you don't just live in, but love.

If you're thinking about a move, let's start with the neighbourhood. Let's grab a coffee and talk about where you want to belong.
